The Tourette’s Association of New Zealand (TANZ) exists to support New Zealand children, teenagers and adults diagnosed with Tourette’s and the family members, caregivers and friends who care for them while promoting tolerance and acceptance of Tourette Syndrome within the Community.
TANZ are looking for new Board members to join us and assist the organisation to grow and thrive. You can help us make a difference to the lives of young New Zealanders living with Tourette Syndrome.
What TANZ Does
TANZ run an annual camp called Camp Twitch, a place where young New Zealander’s with Tourette’s can come and meet others just like them. As well as peer support and social events, TANZ provides professional development and education around Tourette’s, advocacy for disability recognition, and public awareness.
